This site is used by Rutgers RAs living in the campus dorms to store and view emergency information for the students they are in charge of. I developed the site and the SQL database that it uses to house student data. The site is restricted to certain users, and each user has a level of access depending if he or she is a preceptor, graduate assistant, or housing dean. User authentication is done with LDAP. This site is used by RAs living in Rutgers College's 30 residence halls, and holds important information for thousands of student residents.

This web site presents information about today's politics and government policies. I helped design the software that the site uses. The goal of the project was to make it easily editable by a group of users who don't know much about HTML or web site coding. I implemented a system to store data and display it in templates, and also helped built an automated back up system. I am also in charge of hosting this site and several of its offshoots. MetaPager, the content management system we built, is still at the beginning of its development, but it currently in use at www.energypolitics.com, www.stoft.com, www.2act.org.

This web site provides information for tanning salon owners. I compiled the product information section of the web site, and integrated the data into a online database so that it could be easily modified and updated.

This was a site for an up and coming book store that aims to lease college textbooks to students. My task was to integrate the site's design templates with the X-Cart e-commerce package the site was running. This involved extensive scripting using both PHP and the Smarty Template system.

I started working on this site in the Fall of 2001, and have continued working with them since then. Recently I gave the site a complete redesign, which was a great improvement over the previous layout. This site was a little more advanced, and required several PHP scripts that I wrote to handle survey and email forms.

Julianne Baird, Soprano & Teacher

Julianne Baird is a world-renowned soprano and a professor at Rutgers University, Camden. I first started working on a web site for her as a project for the course I took on web design at Rutgers. After the class was over I continued to work on the site, designing many of the graphics and working on the design and technical aspects of her site. On the site you can find information about Julianne's performances, her courses at Rutgers, and even listen to tracks from many of her compact discs.
